Pricing Modeling Analyst – Insurance

In a context of transformation and growing data and pricing challenges, our partner, a leader in its field, is looking for an expert capable of enhancing its pricing models and optimizing product performance.

The position is part of a data-driven transformation strategy, with strong focus on profitability, commercial competitiveness, and advanced data exploitation.

Main Responsibilities

You will be involved across the entire pricing value chain, including:

• Developing and improving technical pricing models across various product lines
• Designing and implementing demand models
• Contributing to the definition and optimization of commercial pricing
• Supporting the evolution of pricing practices and pricing sophistication
• Delivering POCs / MVPs around new approaches, tools, or methodologies
• Improving the quality and structure of the data being used
• Monitoring and analyzing KPIs related to pricing performance
• Contributing to the balance between commercial attractiveness and profitability

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in risk modeling within the non-life insurance sector
• Significant experience in a pricing environment is highly appreciated
• Minimum 5 years of experience in demand modeling development
• Experience in building and validating technical pricing models
• Experience in modeling and validating commercial pricing with a strong business dimension
• Degree in Engineering (Business or Civil), Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science

Technical Skills

• Excellent command of Python (advanced level expected)
• Good knowledge of SQL is preferred
• Knowledge of model industrialization practices (MLOps or equivalent) is considered a plus
• Experience with specialized pricing tools (such as Akur8) is an asset

Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of non-life insurance market challenges
• Ability to integrate business, market, and competitive constraints into models
• Awareness of data governance challenges
• Analytical and results-oriented mindset
• Good command of English required and Fluency in French or Dutchm
